Caretaker Supplement
Wisconsin’s Caretaker Supplement (CTS) is meant to help disabled parents care for their children. Parents who currently receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) may be eligible for CTS. You can apply by calling our Call Center at 888-794-5722 to request a paper application, apply over the phone, or request an in-person appointment. You can also apply online through ACCESS.

If you believe someone is misusing their benefits in any, but not limited to, the following ways, you can report fraud:
- Billing Medicaid for services/equipment not provided.
- Filing a false application for a DHS-funded assistance program such as
Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, WIC or FoodShare. - Trafficking of FoodShare benefits (trading the benefit card for cash, tobacco
or alcohol, or buying ineligible non-food items). - Crime/misconduct/mismanagement by a DHS employee/official or contractor.
